Rachel Zegler To Star In Kyle Mooney’s ‘Y2K’ For A24

Following her Oscar-nominated acting debut in Steven Speilberg’s West Side Story, Rachel Zegler is a star ever on the rise. Most recently, the multitalented actress steals scenes as a part of an impressive ensemble in DC’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Up next, as first reported by GVN, Zegler is in talks to join the cast of her first A24 film.
Per the initial report, Zegler is currently negotiating a deal to join the cast of an upcoming comedy titled Y2K. If she puts pen to paper, she will join a cast already including movie icon Alicia Silverstone. The rest of the ensemble cast will be rounded out by Mason Gooding (Booksmart), Jaeden Martell (It), Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2), and Tim Heidecker (Ant-Man and the Wasp). Musicians Fred Durst and The Kid LAROI are also expected to have roles in the film as well.
