During Marvel Studios’ portion of the Disney Entertainment Showcase D23, fans in attendance were treated to the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again. The footage was not released officially, but it has now leaked online.

Although the leaked Daredevil: Born Again footage features familiar faces, a brand-new look and status quo are heavily teased for the titular superhero. Not only does Matt Mudrock have new enemies, but a team-up with arch-nemesis Wilson Fisk, who is a mayoral candidate for New York City, is in the cards. But the tension-filled sequence between the two characters certainly points towards a tumultuous new relationship to say the least, despite Fisk’s seemingly reborn persona.

The highly-anticipated trailer features the return of the cast of the original Netflix series, including Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter. New characters in the upcoming reboot series are Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn (Matt’s new love interest), White Tiger, and antagonist Muse, a gruesome serial killer who turns his victims into so-called art.

Daredevil: Born Again is set to release in March 2025.
