Jordan Peele’s newest film is starting to come together, and it seems the director already has potential stars in mind. According to Daniel Richtman, Daniel Kaluuya and Steven Yeun are in talks to appear in the movie.
Richtman revealed that both actors were listed on a casting grid for the untitled project. Beyond this, nothing is known about the movie except its release date. The film recently had its debut pushed back from Dec. 25, 2024, to Oct. 23, 2026. Universal had previously pulled the movie from its release calendar after the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes halted production.

Kaluuya and Yeun previously starred in Peele’s last film, 2022’s Nope. The former is best known for his role in Peele’s debut feature film, Get Out, and Marvel Studios’ Black Panther. Fans can expect to see him next in the highly anticipated sequel Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Yeun is well known for his role as Glenn in The Walking Dead and is currently providing his voice to the titular hero of Amazon Prime Video’s animated series Invincible. He is also set to appear alongside Robert Pattinson in Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey 17.
As mentioned, Peele made his directorial debut with 2017’s Get Out and has since released 2019’s Us and 2022’s Nope. The director hasn’t revealed much about this upcoming fourth film but stated in an interview that it could be his favorite movie if made right.
