‘Fantastic Four’: Joseph Quinn Officially Cast As The Human Torch
Marvel Studios has finally assembled the cast of the highly anticipated Fantastic Four reboot. Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn has officially been tapped to play Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch, in the film.
A number of stars have been rumored to take on the role, including Paul Mescal and Quinn. But it has been confirmed that the latter will take on the role and join Marvel’s first family.

The film has faced several delays, the most recent one resulting from the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes. With both situations resolved, filming is reportedly set to begin in the Summer of this year, with a projected release date of July 25, 2025.
Shakman is still attached to direct the film, with Avatar 2 scribe Josh Friedman tapped to pen the most recent script. Reports have circulated that the movie is undergoing rewrites prior to production, but that is yet to be officially confirmed.
In addition to Fantastic Four, Quinn has several exciting projects ahead, including Ridley Scott’s Gladiator 2 and the prequel A Quiet Place: Day One. Most recently, he appeared in the film Hoard.
