‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Merchandise Teases Red Hulk
Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson is set to make his big-screen debut as the Sentinel of Liberty in Captain America: Brave New World after taking on the mantle in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The hero is reportedly set to take on Tim Blake Nelson’s The Leader, but new merchandise further suggests he will also face off against the Red Hulk.
Rumors have circulated for some time that Harrison Ford’s Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross will take on the role of the Red Hulk, and this recently circulated merchandise adds credence to that rumor. Merch worn by members of the film’s crew, which can be seen below, has been found featuring a giant red Hulk hand holding Captain America’s shield.

Malcolm Spellman, creator and head writer of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, penned the script with Dalan Musson, who served as a staff writer on the show. Nigerian-American filmmaker Julius Onah, best known for his work on 2018’s The Cloverfield Paradox, has been tapped to direct.
The feature film is set to undergo reshoots, which are planned to last from May to August this year. Writer Matthew Orton, who previously worked on Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight series, wrote new scenes for the film.
Captain America: Brave New World hits theaters on February 14, 2025.
