‘Captain America 4’: First Look At Sam Wilson’s New Costume

Marvel Studios’ Captain America: New World Order is currently in the midst of filming. Now new images from the set of production have surfaced online, offering a first look at Sam Wilson’s new costume.
As seen in the image below, this new suit is darker than the one worn in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. While the previous uniform was based directly on the comics and was primarily white, this appears to be a very dark blue. It is possible this could be just a stealth suit similar to the one worn by Steve Rogers’ Cap in The Winter Soldier, but that remains to be confirmed.

The film is set to focus on Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson, who took on the Captain America mantle during the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Mackie’s Wilson will take on new threats in the film, including Harrison Ford’s President “Thunderbolt” Ross and the return of Tim Blake Nelson’s The Leader.
Malcolm Spellman, creator and head writer of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, is penning the script with Dalan Musson, who served as a staff writer on the show. Nigerian-American filmmaker Julius Onah, best known for his work on 2018’s The Cloverfield Paradox, has been tapped to direct.
