Liv Tyler Set To Return For Marvel Studios’ ‘Captain America: New World Order’

A star from one of Marvel Studios’ initial Phase 1 films will finally return to the MCU. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Liv Tyler will appear in Captain America: New World Order.
The film is set to focus on Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson, who took on the Captain America mantle during the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Mackie’s Wilson will take on new threats in the film, including Harrison Ford’s President “Thunderbolt” Ross and the return of Tim Blake Nelson’s The Leader.

Tyler will reprise her role as Betty Ross, the daughter of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross. Tyler last appeared in Marvel Studios’ The Incredible Hulk opposite Edward Norton, who at the time played Bruce Banner. It has not been confirmed how large of a role the actress will have in the film but it is notable Marvel is bringing her back at this stage of the MCU.
