‘Wonder Man’: Demetrius Grosse In Talks To Play Grim Reaper

Marvel Studios is looking to tap another actor to join the cast of the upcoming Wonder Man series on Disney+. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Demetrius Grosse is in talks to play Grim Reaper in the show.
First introduced in 1968’s The Avengers #52, Eric Williams was created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema. The brother of Simon Willaims, aka Wonder Man, Eric, was ostracized by his family while his brother received all the affection. Eventually turning to a life of crime as the Grim Reaper, he wielded a techno-scythe that could fire electromagnetic power blasts as well as a number of other things.

Grosse has previously appeared in series such as The Walking Dead and The Rookie. Additionally, he has appeared in films including Rampage and 13 Hours. If Grosse does join the cast, he will be appearing alongside series star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II who is portraying the titular Wonder Man.
Destin Daniel Cretton, who directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, will executive produce the series, while Andrew Guest (Community and Brooklyn Nine-Nine) will serve as head writer. The project is part of Cretton’s overall deal with Marvel Studios he signed after Shang-Chi.
