‘That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime’ Season 3 Announced

The highly popular isekai is set to return for a third season. It was officially announced that the third season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is in production on Wednesday.
The announcement comes ahead of the premiere of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime The Movie: Scarlet Bond, which is set to debut in Japanese theaters in two weeks. Additional details about the new season were not confirmed; however, a teaser visual was shared, which can be seen below, along with the official announcement.

Written by Fuse, the Japanese light novel series debuted in 2014 and currently has 22 volumes published. The series spawned a manga adaptation as well as five spinoff mangas. In 2018 the first season of the television anime adaptation by Eight Bit studios premiered.
The series follows a salaryman who is murdered and reincarnates in a fantasy world as a slime with unique abilities. Using his powers, the slime, named Rimuru Tempest, gathers allies, including goblins, dwarves, orcs, lizardmen, and the legendary dragon Veldora going on to build his own nation of monsters.
