Matt Reeves To Develop Multiple Projects About Batman’s Villains

The Batman introduced audiences to Robert Pattinson’s Caped Crusader, and since then, fans have been eagerly waiting to see more of his Gotham. And it seems Matt Reeves is happy to oblige as The Hollywood Reporter has announced the director is developing multiple projects based on the Dark Knight’s rogues gallery.
In addition to a sequel to The Batman and Colin Farrell’s Penguin spin-off, a number of projects are in early development at Warner Bros. Reeves is reportedly meeting with writers and directors to plot out not just television series but also movies about Batman’s villains.

The potential projects are not limited to Batman’s more notable foes, as the report claims more obscure characters may be adapted. According to The Hollywood Reporter, it ranges from Scarecrow to Clayface to even Professor Pyg. Much like the characters In The Batman, they will all surely have the same real-world aesthetic.
