‘Fantastic Four’: Jeff Kaplan & Ian Springer To Write Script

Marvel Studios has added some new names to the creative team of the highly anticipated Fantastic Four reboot. According to Deadline, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer have been tapped to write the script for the film.

The duo was reportedly attached to the project for some time before even director Matt Shakman was hired. Deadline reports Kaplan and Springer have been working on an outline for the film, but now they, Kevin Feige, and Shakman will align their visions before penning the script.

Shakman was confirmed as the film’s director during Disney’s D23 event last month. Additionally, It was revealed no casting has been finalized for the movie. The long-awaited film will be released on November 8, 2024, and start Phase 6 of the MCU.

Kaplan and Springer are newer to the industry but are already attached to several projects. One such film is the upcoming Warner Bros. comedy Disaster Wedding.
