‘Moon Knight’ Season 2 Reportedly In The Works

It seems fans have not seen the last of Oscar Isaac’s Marc Spector. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Moon Knight season 2 is in the works.
Making his debut in 1975, Marc Spector is a Jewish-American born in Chicago, Illinois. As an adult, Spector decides to give up being a Marine to become a mercenary. While on a mission in Egypt, Spector is left for dead after losing a fight to Raoul Bushman. He’s found by a group of Egyptians who take him to an ancient temple that houses a statue of the moon god Khonshu. As Spector fights for his life, the god appears to him, offering him a second chance at life.

As fans will remember, the season finale of Moon Knight featured a post-credits scene revealing a third personality within Marc Spector, Jake Lockley. Based on the scene, it seemed clear that Marvel Studios has further plans for Moon Knight and his corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and now that looks to be the case.
It is unclear how far along the second season is as of now. In August, a video featuring director Mohamed Diab and star Oscar Isaac was released of the two in Cairo, where they teased the show’s return. It’s possible that season 2 could be confirmed during Marvel Studios’ panel at D23 Saturday, but for now, fans will have to wait for further news to develop.
