During Marvel Animation’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con, a new trailer for the upcoming season of What If…? was shown to those in attendance. And now, the footage has finally leaked online, providing fans a glimpse of what to expect.
The footage, which can be seen below, features a first look at a number of exciting new stories. Included are episodes focused on Hela, the Ten Rings facing off against the Asgardians, Tony Stark on Sakaar with Gamora, Captain Carter meeting the Winter Soldier, a young Peter Quill being taken in by Ego, and the Scarlet Witch.

In addition to the trailer shown at San Diego Comic-Con, fans were also invited to an early screening of the episode focused on Captain Carter and the Hydra Stomper. According to those in attendance, the episode will reportedly set up the overarching story in season 2, similar to how season 1 led to the Guardians of the Multiverse.
The new season is currently set to debut on Disney+ in early 2023. Additionally, a third season is already in production.
