‘Black Adam’ Merchandise Reveals Best Look Yet At Villain Sabbac

Warner Bros. and DC’s Black Adam is set to hit theaters in October, but no footage of the film’s villain Sabbac has been revealed. Thankfully newly released merchandise has provided fans the best look yet at the character.
Created by Judd Winick and Tom Raney, Sabbac first appeared in 2004’s Outsiders #8. Ishmael Gregor was a Russian mob boss who gained the powers of a demon similar to that of Shazam. He transforms by speaking the word “Sabbac,” an acronym for Satan, Aym, Belial, Beelzebub, Asmodeus, and Crataeis.

The merchandise from MacFarlane Toys comes in the form of an action figure based on the character’s design in the film. Sabbac looks much like he does in the comics, including his demonic form, such as the horns and pentagram on his chest.
Actor Marwan Kenzari is reportedly set to portray the villain in the film opposite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Black Adam. He has previously appeared in Disney’s live-action Aladdin and is also known for his role in Netflix’s The Old Guard.
