‘Titans’: Tim Drake’s Boyfriend Bernard Dowd Rumored For Season 5

DC’s Titans may be looking to introduce an individual very close to Tim Drake in an upcoming season. Full Circle Cinema has learned that Drake’s boyfriend, Bernard Dowd, could be joining the popular HBO Max show. Additionally, our source states that his rumored debut in the series would be in the fifth season, and not the fourth, which is expected to arrive this Fall.

Created by Bill Willingham and Rick Mays in 2004, Bernard debuted in Robin #121. An old classmate of Tim’s, Bernard, was obsessed with the heroics of Robin, unaware that his hero was also his friend. After reconnecting, the two have ultimately begun dating.

Tim Drake only recently came out as bisexual in the comics, but the new development for the character has been met with praise from many fans. It is no surprise that Titans may have decided to adopt this aspect of the character’s background. However, we stress that his involvement is simply a rumor, as neither DC nor Warner Bros. has confirmed this information.
