’Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special’ Merchandise Teases Gamora

It looks like fans may not have to wait for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 for the return of Gamora. Based on newly surfaced merchandise it seems the character may appear in the Holiday Special.

Listings for Pop Funkos based on the special have revealed all of the Guardians will be getting their own figure, including Gamora. This is interesting given 2014 Gamora left on her own at the end of Avengers: Endgame.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special is supposed to take place on Earth, which could explain Gamora’s presence since she may have no way off-planet. The special is also set between the events of Thor: Love and Thunder and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, so this may help bridge the gap between the two films.

It should also be noted that while Gamora may appear in the special, she may not be the main focus. It’s possible she may appear in more of a cameo role as her return to the Guardians could be a priority in Vol. 3.
