Casey Brinke To Be Introduced In ‘Doom Patrol’ Season 4

DC and HBO Max’s highly anticipated new season of Doom Patrol is reportedly introducing a newer character to the series. According to Murphy’s Multiverse, season four will feature the debut of Casey Brinke.
Created by Gerard Way and Nick Derington in 2016, Casey Brinke first appeared in Doom Patrol #1. Casey was originally a comic book character created by Danny the Street. She was the superhero Space Case who used a variety of gadgets to fight crime. Her backstory included her mother sacrificing herself to defeat her father, the villain Torminox. However, all of this only existed in the pages of a comic until Danny gained the ability to create life and spawned Casey into the real world, unaware she was not a real person.

As reported by Murphy’s Multiverse, the series is actively seeking an actress between the ages of 20 and 30 for the role. They will stick to the character’s origins as a comic book character, but she will be Dorothy’s favorite superhero who comes to the rescue when Torminox attacks the latter. She will be added to the series as a major recurring guest star, which suggests that Casey and her father play a significant role in season 4.
