‘In The Heights’ Star Anthony Ramos Boards Marvel Studios’ ‘Ironheart’

Marvel Studios’ Ironheart series on Disney+ has added a growing star to its cast. According to Deadline, In the Heights star Anthony Ramos has boarded the show.
His character is being kept under wraps for now, but Ramos will reportedly play a key role. His role has been compared to Jonathan Majors in Loki as he will play a significant role in the series and the future of the MCU. He will star opposite Dominique Thorne, who is set to portray Riri Williams, aka Ironheart.

Riri is a relatively newer character, first appearing in Invincible Iron Man #7 in 2016. She reverse-engineered Tony Stark’s armor and took on the mantle after he fell into a coma after a fight with Captain Marvel. Eventually, after Tony reclaimed the title of Iron Man, Riri took on the name Ironheart and became a member of the Champions.
Chinaka Hodge has signed on as the head writer of the series. As of now, a premiere date for the show has not been set. However, Thorne’s Riri Williams will make her MCU debut in the highly anticipated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
