HBO Max is looking to add one of DC’s most iconic villains to the cast of Titans season 4. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Lex Luthor will appear in the series.
Created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster in 1940, Lex Luther debuted in Action Comics #40. The classic villain has served as Superman’s long-standing archenemy and has cleared a space for himself in the DC Universe.

It was previously rumored that Luthor would appear in season 3 of the HBO Max series, but this did not come to pass. Given the Gotham centric storyline of the previous season, it makes sense why the show has saved him for now.
It was recently reported that the upcoming season would visit Luthor’s home city of Metropolis. Many fans speculated this could mean either Superman or Luther would make an appearance in the series, and it seems this may be the case. However, it remains to be seen if the Man of Steel will also make his Titans debut.
