‘She-Hulk’: Tim Roth’s Abomination Will Be Human Again In The Series
When it was first announced actor Tim Roth would reprise his role as Abomination in Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk, many fans were shocked. But now it seems that is not the only surprising news as it seems Roth’s character will return to his human form in the series.
Created by Stan Lee and Gil Kane in 1967, Abomination made his debut in Tales to Astonish #90. While attempting to kill Bruce Banner, KGB agent Emil Blonsky ultimately triggers the events that would lead to the creation of the Hulk. But in doing so, he also exposed himself to gamma rays and was transformed into the Abomination. The character made his MCU debut in Marvel Studio’s The Incredible Hulk, played by Roth, and recently returned in 2021’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

During a recent interview, Roth was asked whether viewers will see Emil Blonsky as a human again in the show to which the actor answered, “Oh yeah!”. This is a rather exciting turn for the character given Abomination is unable to change back to a human in the comics, unlike Bruce Banner’s Hulk.
Roth is just one of many stars set to appear in the upcoming Disney+ series. The show stars actress Tatiana Maslany as the titular heroine and features Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner. Additionally, Jameela Jamil, Josh Segarra, Renée Elise Goldsberry have been cast.
