‘The Flash’ Will Reportedly Feature Major ‘Man Of Steel’ Characters

Audiences will soon be jumping headfirst into the DC Multiverse with The Flash. Joining the hero might be a couple of characters last seen in 2013’s Man of Steel.
According to WB’s 2022 Movie Preview, Michael Shannon (General Zod) and Antje Traue (Faora) will be making a grand return to the DC Multiverse. The two actors appeared on the cast list for the upcoming film alongside confirmed actors in Ezra Miller (Barry Allen/The Flash), Michael Keaton (Bruce Wayne/Batman), and Sasha Calle (Supergirl).

The two were last seen, alive, in 2013’s Man of Steel. Shannon made a quick cameo in 2016’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice as the corpse of General Zod before being mutated into Doomsday.

It’s still unknown how large a role the characters will actually have. Perhaps the new Earth Barry Allen travels to was unable to fend off the Kryptonians without the help of Superman (Henry Cavill).
Are you excited to see these Kryptonians return to face-off with The Scarlet Speedster in The Flash? What do you hope to see in the film? Let us know in the comments below!
The Flash zooms into theaters on Nov. 4, 2022.
