MODOK Rumored To Appear In ‘Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania’

MODOK will reportedly make his live-action debut in Marvel’s Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania.
MODOK being in the third Ant-Man film may come as a shock for many. The character had been used in previous drafts of the Ant-Man 3 script written by star, Paul Rudd himself. It appears the character survived the countless rewrites to appear in the final version. It’s unknown how the character will factor into the film or even who will play him. We know the main antagonist of the sequel will be Jonathan Majors’ Kang.

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, MODOK first appeared in 1967’s Tales of Suspense #93. An employee of Advanced Idea Mechanics, George Tarleton underwent an experiment to increase his intelligence. The experiment was a success, but the results led to a freakishly large head, which requires the character’s signature chair and looks. He became a recurring character for Captain America and is one of Marvel’s most iconic antagonists.
M.O.D.O.K currently has an animated Hulu show starring Patton Oswalt as the titular villain. The character also appeared as the main antagonist in the recent Marvel’s Avengers video game.
