Daredevil Will Reportedly Appear In Marvel Studios’ ‘Echo’ Series

It appears Marvel Studios has plans to use Daredevil in yet another upcoming project. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Daredevil will appear in the forthcoming Echo series on Disney+.
Created by David Mack and Joe Quesada, Maya Lopez first appeared in 1999’s Daredevil #9. Often portrayed as a supporting character of Daredevil, Echo has previously gone by the alias Ronin. Echo is a skilled martial artist, a highly adept gymnast, and is one of the few deaf comic characters.

Given Echo’s history with Matt Murdock in the comics, it makes sense for the Man Without Fear to appear in the series. Richtman did not specify how large of a role the character will have in the show, but Marvel likely has big plans for the hero in the MCU.
Daredevil is supposedly set to make his MCU debut in Spider-Man: No Way Home, so this would mark his second appearance. It seems likely these cameos will help to set up Daredevil for his own solo appearance later on, but for now, that is mere speculation.
Echo stars actress Alaqua Cox as the heroine. The character will debut in the upcoming Hawkeye series and will star alongside Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton, and Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova.
