DC’s upcoming sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods has officially begun filming and new new photos from the set have revealed the first look at Zachary Levi as the titular hero. The images feature Levi suited up in what looks to be a brand new costume.
The new costume looks very similar to the one from the first film with some added touches. The suit appears to have new gauntlets and additional flourishes around the waist and arms.

The highly anticipated sequel is set to feature the return of Asher Angel as Billy Batson and Zachary Levi as his adult alter ego Shazam. The young hero will have to face off against multiple villains including Lucy Liu as Kalypso, Helen Mirren, and Rachel Zegler in unconfirmed roles.
David F. Sandberg is returning to direct the sequel with a screenplay penned by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan. Moreover, Geoff Johns will produce the feature alongside Peter Safran (Aquaman).

The film stars Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Faithe Herman, Grace Fulton, Ian Chen, and Jovan Armand as Billy Batson’s foster siblings. Additionally, Zachary Levi, Meagan Good, Michelle Borth, Ross Butler, D. J. Cotrona, and Adam Brody play older, superpowered versions of the ragtag team of siblings.
