Edward Norton Joins The Cast of ‘Knives Out 2’ Alongside Daniel Craig

Shortly after Netflix’s 450 million dollar commitment to Rian Johnson’s Knives Out sequels, casting announcements for the detective dramedy’s successor are full of big names. The latest addition to the cast is Motherless Brooklyn‘s, Edward Norton.
According to Deadline, Edward Norton is reported to have joined the cast alongside actors Dave Bautista as well as Daniel Craig as he returns as the distinguished detective Benoit Blanc. Rian Johnson is also returning to the mantle of director and writer, with all creative hands on deck to ensure a consistent trilogy is completed within the Knives Out murder mystery universe. Additional details of the sequel’s plot are scarce at this time. However, the mounting powerhouse cast is sure to stand out in another case for Benoit Blanc to crack, this time set in Greece. Production for the film reportedly begins in the picturesque country this summer.

The Academy Award-nominated actor is relatively selective about his roles in the last few years. His most recent endeavor being his directorial debut with the detective noir Motherless Brooklyn in 2019. Up next, Norton will appear in Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch is premiering this summer at the Cannes Film Festival.
