‘Enola Holmes 2’ Reportedly In Development At Netflix

It seems that fans of Enola Holmes can expect further adventures of the younger sister of the world’s greatest detective. According to Daniel Richtman, Enola Holmes 2 is in development at the streamer.
Based on the book of the same name by Nancy Springer, the story followed the teenage sister of Sherlock Holmes, played by Henry Cavill. The movie saw Enola, played by Millie Bobby Brown, travel to London to find her missing mother only to discover a mystery that threatens the entire country.

The first film was released in 2020 to overwhelmingly positive reviews and was the most-watched film on Netflix over its first five days. Many assumed a sequel would undoubtedly be released, so it comes as no surprise a follow-up is in development.
Enola Holmes 2 will undoubtedly see the main cast return, but it is yet to be revealed if the creative team will. The original was directed by Harry Bradbeer, known for Fleabag and Killing Eve, and written by Jack Thorne, who worked on Shameless and Skins. Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Ali Mendes, Millie Bobby Brown, and Paige Brown served as producers on the first film.
