‘Star Wars’: Disney Wants Alden Ehrenreich To Appear In Multiple Disney+ Shows

Disney may not be done with the story of young Han Solo yet. Insider Daniel Richtman has reported that the studio wants Alden Ehrenreich to appear in multiple Disney+ series.
Ehrenreich last appeared in 2018’s Solo: A Star Wars Story as the young Han Solo. The film explored the legendary outlaw’s origin story and revealed how he met iconic characters like Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian. While the film was met with mixed reactions from fans and critics, there has been a strong push for a sequel. Given recent reports, it seems a theatrical movie is unlikely; however, it may be possible for the story to continue with Disney+.

It has been reported that Disney Is looking to develop a number of series based on elements introduced in Solo: A Star Wars Story, including Crimson Dawn and young Lando. It could be possible for Ehrenreich’s Solo to appear in any one of these projects, and this new report from Richtman suggests that may be the case. It seems likely given his character’s connection to all of these stories that he could play a role in multiple series.
As of now, neither Disney nor Ehrenreich have commented on this story, so for now, it is merely a rumor. The studio has stayed rather secretive concerning its lineup of Star Wars programming on Disney+, so it may be some time before this report is confirmed for the fans.
