Details On Starfire & Blackfire’s Costumes In ‘Titans’ Season 3 Revealed
With production set to begin on Titans season 3 soon, details have surfaced about some characters’ new looks. Lance Ausfresser of the Titans Facebook Group has revealed some information about Starfire and Blackfire’s costumes in the upcoming season.
During a Facebook Live discussion, Ausfresser revealed that the costumes will be very closely based on the character’s comic book designs. Overall each character’s looks will be amalgamations of their respective costumes from throughout the years. However, Ausfresser added that Blackfire’s ensemble will feature a striking resemblance to her 80’s design specifically. The Titans Facebook Group features 300 of the show’s cast and crew as members, so this reporting seems reliable, and Ausfresser’s reporting has been proven correct on multiple occasions.
For the past two seasons, Starfire has yet to suit up in an actual costume; rather, she has settled for civilian clothes. Many fans have long hoped to see her don a suit like her fellow Titans, so this should be very welcome news.
The new season is expected to introduce a number of fan-favorite characters, including Barbara Gordon and Red Hood. While Barbara is yet to be officially cast, fans can expect to see Curran Walters’ Jason Todd suit up as the anti-hero Red Hood.
