‘She-Hulk’: Jennifer Walters Will Handle Superheroic Law

Friday character breakdowns surfaced for Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series She-Hulk. The Illuminerdi revealed not only that Jennifer Walters will practice “superheroic law” in the show, but they also announced two potential supporting characters.
Based on the report, Walters will still be portrayed as a lawyer per her comic book roots, but she will specifically practice superheroic law. The breakdown explained that she is very successful in her profession when she is not engaged in her own superheroics as She-Hulk.
This is not the first time real-world politics like law have made their way into the MCU. Captain America: Civil War introduced the Sokovia Accords, so it will be exciting to see if this will be explored in Walters’ day job.
The Illuminerdi also revealed two supporting characters that will appear in She-Hulk.
The show is reportedly casting for Walters’ “best friend” who, as fans of the comics, know would be Jill Stevens. As of now, the character has no specific description, so Stevens is merely speculation.

The second character the show is casting for is “Meg” a fellow lawyer who is described as shrewd while having a biting wit and humor. While there are no notable characters of this name in the comics, the outlet speculates this could be Mallory Book. In the comics, Book has been portrayed as both an ally and rival of Walters having crossed paths with her many times in the past.
As production draws closer for She-Hulk hopefully, further casting will be revealed. It is not yet known who the villain of the series will be, so fans can look forward to this announcement.
