Robert Downey Jr. Shuts Down The Idea Of A Return As Iron Man

Robert Downey Jr. confirmed in a recent interview that he is finished playing Iron Man after the character’s heroic death in Avengers: Endgame. When asked in a recent interview with Parade about a return as Tony Stark, Robert Downey Jr. said, “The war for me is over. I personally have alighted to greener pastures.”
Tony Stark’s untimely demise wasn’t much of a surprise for fans as Downey Jr. had portrayed the hero for over ten years. Regardless, reports claim that his Iron Man will return to the big screen for maybe the last time in Black Widow via deleted scenes from Captain America: Civil War.
