‘Loki’ Casting Call Points To A Young God Of Mischief Appearing

The cast of Tom Hiddleston’s Disney+ series just got a lot more interesting. According to insider Charles Murphy, a new casting call is looking for actors to play a 10-year-old British male and a 10-year-old British female in the upcoming Loki.
The casting breakdowns for the two roles can be found below:
Male, 10 years old, British, Open Ethnicity, smart and brave with a sharp wit and life experience beyond his years…RECURRING
Female, 10 years old, British, Caucasian, in tears over a frightening situation, she relies on her intelligence and resilience to find a way out.
While it is difficult to discern who the identity of the female character, the male role standouts. Rumors claim that Loki will bring a young version of the God of Mischief to the small screen, and this description may add some fuel to that fire. It’s possible that a young Loki appears via flashback, but one aspect of the breakdown may nix that idea.

Based on the line “life experience beyond his years,” there’s a possibility that Hiddleston’s fan-favorite character is transformed into a child at some point in the show. At one point in the comics, Loki was reborn in the form of a younger body. This scenario would create an exciting new take on the God of Mischief, especially if he returns to the main MCU timeline.

Loki hits the Disney+ streaming service in the spring of 2021.
