As principal photography commences for The Batman, fans can finally see how Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne will look like in the upcoming DC film.

The following set photo comes courtesy of DCVERSO, who has already captured various images of Matt Reeves’ production in London. With Collin Farrel’s Penguin previously seen on set, it was only a matter of time until we got our first look at the caped crusader himself. Check it out:

Although it’s not clear when the scene in question takes place, we speculate that this is when Bruce returns to Gotham after spending years training in foreign countries. If true, it seems that the film will indeed dive into the character’s origin before creating the superhero persona.

Reeves’ The Batman will see Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne face off against prominent members of the Dark Knight’s rogues gallery. As of now, it has been confirmed the Caped Crusader will take on Colin Farrell’s The Penguin, Paul Dano’s The Ridler, Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman, among others that have yet to be cast.
