Kid Flash in action

Keiynan Lonsdale Set To Return As Wally West In ‘The Flash’ Season 6

Fans of the Arrowverse are currently in the middle of a waiting period. Crisis On Infinite Earths is one of the biggest, most jarring crossover events in television history. However, many fans have wondered where Kid Flash is in all of this. Well, as first reported by TVInsider, Keiynan Lonsdale will reprise his role of Wally West during this current season of The Flash.

Lonsdale first appeared in The Flash during its second season. The brother of Iris West has since been a catalyst for several storylines on the series and came in handy during a plethora of battles. However, the character was then transferred over to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow during their time-battle with The Reverse-Flash.

Showrunner Eric Wallace touted his excitement for Wally’s return during an interview with TVInsider.

“As always, it’s a real treat having our Flash family member Keiynan Lonsdale back to play the youthful speedster, but what’s different this time [is that] Wally has grown, along with his speedster abilities, too. This won’t be your same old Kid Flash making a reappearance,” he said. “A fresher, more exciting direction for the character as Wally, just like the rest of Team Flash, deals with a post-Crisis world.”

It will be interesting to see what role Kid Flash plays post-Crisis. After the event’s first three episodes, it is clear that the entire landscape will change.
