‘The Falcon & The Winter Soldier’: Miki Ishikawa & Desmond Chiam Join Cast

The Disney+ streaming services promises to be an absolute game-changer. The outlet is giving Disney the unique opportunity to expand upon its solidified franchises in new and exciting ways. The Marvel Cinematic Universe stands to grow with shows like The Falcon & The Winter Soldier in development. As first reported by Deadline, the upcoming series has added two new faces to its ensemble cast.
Miki Ishikawa, best known for her roles in The Terror and Funny People, joins the fray in an unknown role. Additionally, Desmond Chiam, last seen ABC’s Reef Break and MTV’s The Shannara Chronicles, will also appear in the series in a recurring role. Disney has reportedly declined to comment on the castings so there is no way of knowing just who either Ishikawa or Chiam will portray.

The two up-and-coming actors will join Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, who will star as the titular characters. Moreover, Daniel Bruhl and Emily VanCamp will reprise their MCU roles as well.
Over the last few weeks, numerous set photos have made their way onto the internet. They have helped fans piece together the journey on which the two Avengers will embark. Outside of the fact that the series will feature the fallout of Avengers: Endgame, not much else is known of the narrative.

Hailing from showrunner Malcolm Spellman, the series stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Wyatt Russell as John Walker, Emily Van Camp as Sharon Carter, and Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo.
