After two seasons, the wait is nearly over. Before this week’s new Titans episode, concept art for the highly-anticipated Nightwing suit has arrived online.
The costume designer for all DC Universe shows, including Titans and Stargirl, posted on her Instagram page a live video showing a behind-the-scenes look at how the super suits are made. In addition to showing each piece of concept art for every costume made thus far, one can spot some illustrations for Dick Grayson’s Nightwing suit. The backpiece has also made its way online and it features the classic blue logo.

Although the season finale titled “Nightwing” is still over a week away, fans have been treated to first looks at the suit ever since production concluded earlier this year. It’s now closer than ever to appearing on the small screen and it looks like they did a fantastic job designing it.

First appearing in Tales of the Teen Titans #44 in 1984, Nightwing is the identity Dick Grayson assumed when he moved on from his role as Batman’s vigilante partner, Robin. On Titans, Dick quit fighting crime alongside Bruce Wayne before the start of the series. However, when he runs into Raven, he picks up the Robin mantle again, but only for a short period.
