‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’ Set Photos Tease A 70’s Flashback

In addition to our first look at Sebastian Stan on the set of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, new images suggest that flashbacks, set in the 70s, will be featured in the upcoming series.
Thanks to Atlanta Filming, photos have surfaced online from the show’s production featuring vintage 70s cars on the street. Stan was seen in Winter Solider attire just this week, so it is possible these sequences could call back to his time as the brain-washed assassin.
Given the series will be able to develop the characters of Sam and Bucky like never before, our theory is that we will get a look into the latter’s past while he was under the control of Hydra. Bucky was used by them for decades, so it is entirely possible he was brought out during the 70s for some nefarious purpose.

It would be interesting to have the dark past of Bucky offset against his now heroic role alongside Falcon. Sebastian Stan also posted an image of Bucky’s dog tags to his Instagram story, so this furthers the idea that we will see a look into the character’s past.
