As first reported by Deadline, the franchise is getting back on track. The third film in the Harry Potter spinoff series will begin production in the spring of 2020. The film was originally set to start filming this past July, but it was stalled to provide for prep time. The world is continuing to travel with the addition of Brazil. The first film in the series was set in New York City while the second played out in Paris.

The currently unnamed film will also see the return of David Yates as director. Additionally, Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Johnny Depp, Ezra Miller, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, and Katherine Waterston will reprise their series roles as well.
