Emily Bett Rickards Will Return As Felicity Smoak For Final Episode Of ‘Arrow’

Fans of the Arrowverse have been going through a whirlwind of emotions this year. The show that started it all, Arrow, is currently in its final season. Many characters are getting their respective storylines wrapped up on their way out. However, according to series star Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards is set to return as Felicity Smoak for the series finale

Rickards has not been seen on Arrow since Season 7. She made the decision to exit the series herself. Fans of the series are famously split on the Felicity character. Some love her inclusion in the show and her relationship with the Green Arrow. On the other hand, there is a vocal group of fans who cannot stand how important she has become to the show’s narrative.

Whether she is loved or hated, Rickards is a huge part of the Arrow continuity and appearing in the series finale is a fitting way for the show to meet its end.
This year’s Arrowverse efforts are shaping up to be its biggest yet. The debut of a new series (Batwoman) along with the most ambitious crossover yet (Crisis on Infinite Earths) has all the making of a groundbreaking few months of television.
