‘Supernatural’s Stephen Lobo Joins ‘Crisis On Infinite Earths’ As Spectre

The CW’s Crisis On Infinite Earths continues to add to its star-studded cast. According to IGN, Supernatural alum Stephen Lobo has joined the crossover as Jim Corrigan, aka the Spectre.
Lobo is best known for his role as Rick Sanchez on The CW’s Supernatural. His other credits include The X-Files, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and the Superman origin series Smallville. Next year, Lobo will appear alongside Jennifer Conolly and Daveed Diggs in TNT’s Snowpiercer series, based on the 2013 South Korean-Czech film of the same name.
Jim Corrigan began his career as the Spectre in the early 1940s when the hard-boiled police detective met his end at the hands of crime-boss Gat Benson. When Corrigan’s soul left his body, rather than ascending to Heaven, it refused to pass onto the afterlife. Feeling his pain, the archangel Michael decided to bond his soul to the Spirit of God’s vengeance, the Spectre.
