‘Titans’ Season 2 Adds ‘Battlestar Galactica’ Actress Sarah Deakins As Martha Kent

An important member of Superman’s family will appear in the second season of Titans. As first reported by SpoilerTV, Sarah Deakins has joined the cast of the DC Universe series as Martha Kent, the mother of Kal-El.
Deakins is known for appearing in a number of TV shows, including Battlestar Galactica, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Supernatural, and more. She will make her debut as Martha in next week’s episode titled “Conner,” which is set to focus on Superman and Lex Luthor’s clone, Superboy.
The next installment of the DC Universe series will see Superboy escape from Cadmus Labs and begin searching for the truth about his origin. Lionel Luthor, the father of Superman archenemy Lex Luthor, will be played by Peter MacNeill.
Martha Kent is the wife of Jonathan Kent and adoptive mother of Superman, also known as Clark Kent. Due to not being able to conceive a child of their own, they raised him as their son after having found him as a baby inside of a strange rocket. Diane Lane most recently played Martha in 2017’s Justice League, which featured the rebirth of Kal-El.
