Jonah Hill In Talks To Play The Riddler In ‘The Batman’

The Batman is one of, if not the, most anticipated DC properties. With Robert Pattinson set to star as The Capes Crusader, the various members of Batman’s rogues gallery set to appear in the film, have yet to been cast. However, this could be changing as Variety is reporting that critically-acclaimed actor, Johan Hill, is in talks for a role in the film.
Apparently producers of The Batman have long wanted to cast Hill in the film but put off talks until the film found its Batman. Although the deal is not set in stone and could still far apart, both sides are interested and working on the deal. This report also comes with the news that Jeffrey Wright is in talks to play Commissioner Gordon for the film.
As for whom Hill could possibly be playing in the film, Jeff Snider from Collider is reporting that he is in talks to play the infamous villain The Riddler.

The Riddler also know as Edward Nigma, is one of Batman’s oldest and well know villains first appearing in Detective Comics #140. Nigma prides himself on his superior intellect and often gloats this by sending the police and Batman riddles to solve, which usually cause the Worlds Greatest Detective little trouble at all. The character has only appeared once before on the big screen in the 1995 disaster of a movie, Batman Forever, which saw famous comedian Jim Carrey playing the role.
