HBO’s ‘Watchmen’ To Feature Ozymandias’ Comic-Accurate Costume

HBO’s sequel series to Alan Moore’s Watchmen won’t skimp on comic accuracy. Not only will the series hold all of the original issues as canon, but it will also include some classic looks. Based on a new look at the series, Jeremy Irons is going to don Ozymandias’ costume.
A recently released featurette for Watchmen has revealed our first look at Adrian Veidt’s comic-accurate costume. The image features a quick glimpse of Irons in his golden collar from the comics.
Given that Ozymandias will be suited up on HBO’s Watchmen, it begs the question of what other classic characters will suit up in the show? For now, we will have to speculate but thankfully not for long as the series will premiere next month.

Set as a direct sequel to Alan Moore’s acclaimed comic, Lindelof’s adaptation is set to include everything from the comics as canon. Such a concept will undoubtedly ask some interesting questions, such as how did the world evolve after the events of Watchmen.
