‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Spinoff Series Supposedly In The Works At Disney+

Solo: A Star Wars Story performed decently at the box office, but poorly enough for Disney to rethink the anthology approach to Star Wars. Now, according to Star Wars Unity, a spinoff of the lackluster blockbuster could be gaining steam at the Disney+ streaming service.
Solo: A Star Wars Story was met with a rough reaction in theaters, but has met with more and more positive reviews as it has come to home video. In May to celebrate its anniversary, Star Wars News Net had a day to bring light to the movie, and maybe get movement for a sequel going. It got the conversation rolling, with the hashtag gaining national attention at outlets, and even gaining response from Ron Howard, and Jon Kasdan.
Star Wars Unity states they’ve heard there will be a Solo spinoff set some time after the events of the movie. While it won’t likely follow Han Solo’s story, the potential for following Qi’ra and Maul into the depth of Crimson Dawn is entirely plausible. Maul’s appearance was an enticing part of the film, and many were hoping there would be more to their story.
