‘Agent Carter’ Lead Hayley Atwell To Join ‘Mission Impossible 7’

Hayley Atwell has taken the Marvel world by storm as Agent Carter, and now according to director Christopher McQuarrie, she’ll now join one of the top move franchises in Hollywood, Mission Impossible.
Hayley Atwell has starred in the MCU as Agent Peggy Carter, S.H.I.E.L.D. co-founder, and led her own show on ABC as the agent. She recently starred in Blinded by the Light, and has a role in Christopher Robin for Disney. She’ll reprise her role as Peggy Carter in Disney+’s Marvel What If…?, and now it appears she will join Tom Cruise to accept an impossible mission. She and director/writer Christopher McQuarrie had a set of posts on Instagram to showcase the news. See below.
McQuarrie is writing and directing the seventh and eighth film in the Mission Impossible franchise. He directed Rogue Nation and Fallout, with Fallout grossing the highest in the 23 year old film franchise. The parry between Atwell and McQuarrie might divulge some ideas as to who Atwell will play. Is she a rogue agent Cruise’s Ethan Hunt will hunt down? Or is she not an enemy agent? Theoretically we’ll find out before Mission Impossible 7 releases July 23 2021!
