‘Doctor Who’ Star Peter Capaldi In Talks To Join ‘The Suicide Squad’

Another high-profile actor has boarded James Gunn’s upcoming DC project. According to Deadline, Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi is set to join The Suicide Squad.
Capaldi is best known for portraying the twelfth incarnation of the Doctor in BBC’s Doctor Who. His other credits include Christopher Robin, World War Z, and Paddington 2. Later this year, Capaldi will appear alongside Tilda Swinton and Hugh Laurie in The Personal History of David Copperfield.
Deadline also reports that Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson is in talks for a cameo in The Suicide Squad. He and Capaldi would join David Dastmalchian, John Cena, Flulfa Borg, Taika Waititi, Idris Elba, Daniela Melchior, and Storm Reid as newcomers to the franchise.
