‘Captain Marvel’ Star Gemma Chan Is Excited To Return To The MCU In ‘Eternals’

Gemma Chan will be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a different role. The 36-year-old actress previously starred in 2018’s Captain Marvel.
During the D23 Expo, it was officially confirmed that Chan would be appearing in Eternals. She is no stranger to the Marvel Studios as she made her MCU debut as the Kree sharpshooter, Minn-Erva. Despite previously appearing in the franchise in another capacity, Chan is expected to play the main female lead role, Sersei, in Eternals. As Chan makes her second appearance in the MCU, it will be exciting to see what she can do in a larger role this time around. She is best known for her breakout role as Astrid Young in Crazy Rich Asians.
