Another star has joined the cast of Marvel’s Eternals. According to Collider, Barry Keoghan is in talks to join the studio’s upcoming film the Eternals.
The Irish star is coming off the success of HBO’s Chernobyl and may soon find himself among the MCU’s star-studded ensemble. Keoghan previously starred in Dunkirk, Killing of a Sacred Deer, and is the winner of the Irish Film and Television Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Collider reports that Keoghan’s role is currently unknown. It is assumed that the actor will portray one of the many Eternals, but for now, this is just conjecture.
Keoghan joins the already stacked cast which includes Gemma Chan, Angelina Jolie (Thena), Richard Madden (Ikaris), Kumail Nanjiani (Kingo), Salma Hayek (Ajak) and Brian Tyree Henry (Phastos), Lauren Ridloff (Makkari), Lia McHugh (Sprite) and Don Lee (Gilgamesh).
Created by Jack Kirby in 1976, the Eternals are a race of superpowered, near-immortal beings who were created by the Celestials.
