Blumhouse’s ‘Invisible Man’ Casts Oliver Jackson-Cohen In Titular Role

The Invisible Man has officially found its new face. Deadline reports that The Haunting of Hill House star Oliver Jackson-Cohen has joined the Blumhouse Production’s Invisible Man in the titular role.
Jackson-Cohen joins the likes of Elizabeth Moss and Storm Reid in the upcoming flick based on the classic tale of the Invisible Man. The report adds that the filmmakers behind the movie were especially impressed with Jackson-Cohen’s turn in Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House. He’s also appeared in NBC’s Dracula TV series and Emerald City.

The Universal project has been in the works for years now, with Johnny Depp being attached to star when the Dark Universe was still a thing (Rest In Peace). Blumhouse has now partnered with the studio to produce a new film that sees Upgrade‘s Leigh Whannell in the directing/writing chair. Principal photography commences this month in Australia, with Jason Blum is set to produce.
