Sigourney Weaver Confirms Involvement In New ‘Ghostbusters’ & Teases Familiar Faces

When Jason Reitman announced he would be directing a new Ghostbusters film, fans of the original two films were overjoyed. Now, thanks to an interview with Parade Magazine, fans have another reason to be excited. Sigourney Weaver confirmed she would be returning for the new installment along with some familiar faces.
While discussing her upcoming projects, Weaver revealed she has signed on for Reitman’s Ghostbusters. She will be reprising her role of Dana Barret, who she portrayed in the original two films. Weaver also confirmed that Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd would be reprising their roles as Peter Venkman and Ray Stantz respectively. “It’s going to be crazy working with the guys again,” Weaver explained.
Weaver joins a cast that already includes Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), Carrie Coon (The Leftovers), and McKenna Grace (Captain Marvel).
