One of the numerous DC films in development at Warner Brothers Studios is Ava Duvernay’s New Gods. Today via The Wrap we have learned that Batman writer Tom King has been tasked to help DuVernay pen the script!
The award-winning author for his work on to the New Gods. King wrote an excellent Mister Miracle run awhile back for which he received critical praise. The story focused upon the relationship between Mister Miracle and Big Barda.

This news seems to be the reason for King’s recent announcement that he would be leaving his Batman run earlier than expected. With Ava DuVernay’s amazing work behind the camera and King’s storytelling ability this movie is certainly something fans should be looking forward to!
